South, South-East statistics table shows that during the month of December 2012 my Sanyo PV solar array yielded 60.64 kWs of electricity, averaging 1.96 kWs per day.

I thought that I had experienced the worst day when I reported a 0.13 yield on the 24/11/2012 – well after a dreadful day’s weather on the 19th December my system generated a mere 0.02 kWs!

This is the last East-West Split statistics table and ends the twelve-month period since installation. I will only be blogging the total monthly yield from now on for this system. The table shows that during the month of December 2012 the 2.64kW SolarEdge PV array yielded 40.69 kWs of electricity, averaging 1.32kWs per day.

The East-West Split statistics table shows that during the month of November 2012 the 2.64kW SolarEdge PV array yielded 59.7kWs of electricity, averaging 1.99kWs per day.

South, South-East statistics table shows that during the month of October 2012 the 2kW Sanyo PV array yielded 128.49kWs of electricity, averaging 4.14kWs per day.

The East-West Split statistics table shows that during the month of October 2012 the 2.64kW SolarEdge PV array yielded 107.57kWs of electricity, averaging 3.47kWs per day.

June Solar PV Generation Statistics

June 2012 should have been a good solar generating month, however I can’t help but feel a little robbed after experiencing the wettest June on record and one of the dullest too! Having solar PV panels gives you an added perception of the weather conditions around you, especially if like me you are in your first year of solar harvesting. You think only of all the sunny months you have experienced over the years – not even a flicker enters your mind of all the poor ones which have gone before and I’m sure that there were many!

With June also incorporating the longest day I was hoping to see some more yield records broken. We may still see these statistics reach new heights in July or even August but for now I can only reflect on what could have been. Anyway, I’m still, although less eager this month, going to keep on posting good or bad solar PV generation statistics for my South, South-East 2 kWh Sanyo solar panel array and my father’s 2.64kWh Sunpower East-West Split system.

The South, South-East statistics table shows that during the month of July 2012 the Sanyo solar panel array yielded 202.98kWs of electricity from the sun, averaging 6.77kWs per day. This is a little less than what was achieved in April.

The East-West Split statistics table shows the system fairing a little better with a yield of 231.26kWs, averaging 7.71kWs per day. By comparison this is a little better than what was achieved in April – the system continuing to benefit from the higher sun throughout the day and late into the evenings.

Solar Panel Generation Statistics – April 2012

April 2012, although a wet month, saw my South, South-East generation solar statistics continue to increase. March as reported provided a real kick start to the harvesting figures and April has seen another good month. I did feel however that there would have been a bigger growth than that achieved for the month, but I guess it was the wettest April for years and the last week of March provided such a boost!

I can’t complain with any of the recent harvest figures because my yield rates are now exceeding my overall expectations from what I experienced at the start of my journey.

The East-West Split system is also continuing to increase its yield and is looking like being quite a productive system especially now that the longer days are here with the bright sunny evening skies.

I’ve included both solar system statistics tables in this month’s blog report to view and compare.

Solar Panel Generation Statistics – April 2012 (South, South-East)

South, South-East statistics table shows that during the month of April 2012 my Sanyo solar panel array yielded 210.32kWs of electricity from the sun, averaging 7.01kWs per day. I also have a new highest solar panel daily yield of 12.87kWs.

It also saw a new highest solar daily yield of 11.41kWs from the SunPower solar panels.
